Trek Itineray
Day 1: Hike to Setampol Crater Rim (Start from Nangke Rempek Village)
Your adventure begins at 07:00 AM after breakfast at your hotel. Our team will pick you up and transfer you to the trekking starting point in Nangke Rempek Village, which takes approximately 15–20 minutes depending on your hotel location.
After completing registration at the local trekking office, we begin our journey through a beautiful tropical forest. Along the trail, you will pass local plantations such as coffee, vanilla, and clove trees, offering a glimpse into the daily life of the local community.
After around 30 minutes of walking, we reach Jebak Gawah Nangke rempek(Jungle Gate / Post 1 – 867m above sea level).
🥾 Trek Route Details:
- Post 1 → Post 2 (1,445m): ~2 hours of steady uphill trekking
- Short break at Post 2 (~20 minutes)
Post 2 → Post 3 - (2,134m): ~2.5 hours of more challenging climb
We arrive at Post 3 around lunchtime, where you will enjoy a well-prepared lunch and rest for about 1–1.5 hours.
After lunch, the trek continues to the Setampol Crater Rim campsite (2,700m), which takes approximately 1.5 hours. You will arrive at the campsite around 4:00 PM, where our team will set up your tent and prepare everything for your overnight stay.
🌅 Sunset Highlight
Only a 10-minute walk from the campsite, you can reach the best viewpoint to enjoy a breathtaking sunset overlooking:
- The spectacular Mount Rinjani crater
- The stunning Segara Anak Lake
- Mount Agung in Bali (visible on clear days)
After sunset, return to the campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Sunrise & Return to Nangke Rempek Village
Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over Mount Rinjani, with beautiful colors reflecting on the crater lake.
After breakfast, we begin our descent back to Nangke Rempek Village via the same route.

We will arrive at the finish point around 12:30 PM, where our driver will be ready to pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel.
